Hi Guys
I was thinking with the new Station Radio thread that i keep it locked and Clean and we point to this thread for the talk etc.

That way over the year ... the songs all stay in a nice clean list in the actual Station Radio thread, and we can talk the crap here :-)

So .. What do you guys think?
Good idea? .. Got anything to add?
Let me know .... I think this will be cool!
Paul

BTW ... The Radio Thread is here:

Good idea. Sticky posts ought to be more lean and mean - information and links. Let the mods lock them and update them as necessary. The chatter should stay elsewhere where it can age off. There's only so much you can do to keep the forum orderly, but this is one of those things.

Yes..
I thaught the same.
Sure at first it will be easy and clean but down the road ...not so maybe... :-)
I am just pulling all the links together for that thread .... should have by tonite or tomorrow i hope. I will post there and Here when i do :-)
thanks for the comments mn.

Also if anyone is interested to stay informed about new Manystation Users Music, then just leave a post in this thread .. then you will get the KvR email to inform when a track is added or a new comment is up.
Thanks all

A couple of suggestions regarding Station Radio.

Should we adopt a thread title/post prefix to make it easier (for Paul, mainly) to locate threads that have song submissions? Similar to other forums use of BR for bug reports and FR for feature request and the like. We could use SR for Station Radio like:
SR: Check out my awesome Manystation tune, dudes!

Or should we just make one (or a few) thread where songs can get posted? Such as this thread or one titled something like:
Station Radio - submit songs here
or maybe
Station Radio - 2005 March - submit songs here

awww geezzz ... there ya go makin' it all formal :-) hehe

I guess my main issue is i just want a decent archive of things i hear done with ManyStation.
I think most important and easiest is if I miss something or you have a tune you want included then just post here or email me.

Also I would say the tune does not need to be fully ManyStation, but should contain at least a noticable ManyStation Instrument, for it to be included in the Radio Thread, but, it can contain other instruments etc. which should be noted. (Really, i want to hear all songs that use any bits of ManyStation so this is not an important issue as long as we know what bit is ManyStation in the tune)

My thaughts as to your suggestions .... they would be good ideas if the forums gets busy, (and read below) but for now i can keep on top of things so maybe no need yet to be so formal. I want you guys just to have fun...
Also your ideas "mn", made me think of future little ManyStation users contests where the winners get some sound addons. Then the Month naming thing that you suggest and a thread for submissions would be cool... a Great idea.

But for now relax and Have fun!!
I would say you guys should start a new thread for your tunes or if you post it elsewhere like in the cafe here at KvR ,... then just post here too with a link to that post.

I read this forum daily. :-) Another thing i would like to do is to set it up as a Radio type list that streams it all as a playlist ... But first i will just get all the song links up, then we will look into that.
Thanks mn ... you just inspired some future things :-)

I have a new batch of tunes that i will be posting soon in the Radio Thread. I am once again amazed at the songs created by all the users with ManyStation.

Check it out if you havn't yet guys ..
I have it locked to keep it clean so it does not get bumped much.
Hence ..I'll bump this chat thread about it. There is some great tunes there by KvR and ManyTone Users.

Hi ManyStation / UBK Users

I know there are a bunch of tunes by our users that i have not got listed in the Station Radio thread yet.

If you have wrote a song that uses some ManyStation in it ...and I have not got it listed in the Station Radio thread .... Please email or post here so i can update the thread with the latest user tunes.

I know there is a few songs by some of you that i heard in the past that i need to get listed in the Station Radio so please mail me if your tunes are missing from it.

Also any new UBK tunes can go in there too so if anybody has some lets get them up for folks to hear :-)

The Station Radio thread to check the tunes is here:
