You are? Well bless your socks. Always wondered why there wasn't a VST bandsplitter.
Early prototype of Tiny Splitter is available. First stereo out pair is lowpass, second pair is highpass, third pair is bandpass.

Works like a charm in Mulch. So much easier than than the multiple filter route. To be part of the massive FX suite, then?

Post

excellent. Does the deed in eXT.

This is great! Thanks a lot!

Personally I would prefer having the bandpass signal on the second output pair and the hipass on the third, though. :)

Technically, the Tiny, not massive, FX suite :) Yep.

I'm going to go with independent plugins and cross-plugin control routing via network - not yet implemented.

Once it is, we can start daily threads on the great Tiny God innovation. Plugins that talk to each other are long overdue.

I understand that you're not going to change this just to satisfy me of course, but the way I see it, providing the frequency outputs from low (left) to high (right) is the most obvious... Isn't it?

Just a suggestion, though.. I've been waiting for something like this, so I'm happy. Thanks again! :)

Yes and no :)

Actually, that matches my new current standard for filter mode selection, so yeah, it's probably better. So maybe I will switch it.

Hardly an innovation - Rewire, FXTeleport, MIDI loopbacks, etc.

Thanks for considering it! Even if you end up keeping the configuration as it is at the moment I'll definitely find this useful, though. :)

Cheers,

Jorgen.

It is, I tell you, go with the hype!

Interconnectivity exists in some audio apps, sure, but not at a scale lower than audio/midi transport. Subminimal's Senderella or Jaltoh's Soundbus are good examples too, but nothing sending control information with a finer resolution than MIDI. This done well would be the difference between working with VST plugins in a modular synth versus working with that synth's native modules. Look at a synth like SynthEdit, where native modules have input ports for every parameter, VST plugins run in SE have audio and midi only.

Hype!

'hello, I'm a chorus, and you?'

'I'm a simple delay. So what are you doing here Mr. Chorus?'

'Mrs. Chorus, please!'

'I'm sorry. - So what are you doing here Mrs. Chorus?'

'what are you so nosey about things which aren't your business?'

'I'm sorry - I didn't want to appear obstrusive!'

'Would you then please stop talking to me now?!'

Dunno if that's such a good idea... :?

Music to me. Especially nice if Russell could maintain such polite hostility.

'What do you think of the song, Mrs. Chorus?'

'Oh, it's crap, innit, Mr. Delay?'

'Quite agree. Feedback to 102% then?'

'Righty-oh, on the first backbeat of the next bar, eh?'

'Indeed - two, one, go!'
