I just tried using the latest demo version in Logic 7.01, but it doesn't show up as a converted AU. I used version 1.50.02 of the VST-AU Adapter. Any Logic users enjoying this cool plug?

Did you look in the Audio Instruments menu? (AU MIDI FX) I just double-checked in Logic (using same versions you mentioned) and it shows up here.. let me know if I can help!

p.s: in Logic, insert Lucifer as AudioInst. , sidechain a *stereo* input once you open the Lucifer GUI, and turn down the mixer track source volume (or use the mixer's mute) so you can hear Lucifer 100% wet.

yep, found a problem in Orion (which is notorious with all of our plugins). Posted a new PC demo to the same location on devine-machine.com.

seems good, or at least functional in Orion now!

Heya Ned,
no, no email from you, where did you send it to?
You can always post suggestions here, or in the DM forum, or to me directly!

I used the email link under your name, where one can click on your profile, www, etc. Maybe it's an old email?

Anyhow, I just wanted to say that I still can't load Lucifer demo into Logic 7.0.1. I would like to send you my version of it, after I used the VST-AU Adapter to make it into an AU. As you know, the app is small, less than 500kb. If not, can you tell me which version of the VST-AU Adapter you used? Maybe the version I have is not Lucifer friendly!

Same as you I swear! email it to (steve(devine-machine.com)) and I will try on my Logic 7.01 :|

Although, I think you may just need to run AU Manager and re-enable Lucifer (just thought of that, since I believe you tried a long time ago before VST-AU was Logic7 compatible)....

That did, Stevie-old-boy! I love the new touches in the GUI - that keyboard sure looks sweet! OK, I'll drop some dough for this baby, but I do hope that someday, in the not too far distance, an AU cousin will appear!

Cool! Glad its running!

99.9% chance of a native AU version in the future, it will be a free "upgrade" for OSX VST users.

I'm picking this up tommorrow. I really dig it, but I do have an observation to make about it:

When one is working with 32 & 64 step resolution it starts getting really difficult to use an event table the size Lucifer currently has. Rather than redesign the existin, really smoking GUI, maybe it would be possible to use an approach like aptrigga has & have a second VST that's basically a dedicated step sequencer. This way you can build a larger event table with dedicated controls & not have to hurt pretty Lucifer at all aside from maybe adding an override toggle for recieving the larger secondary sequencer's patterns. I only mention this as Lucifer really starts to shine when you get into these higher resolution sequences, but it's difficult to program in with it's current size

But I'm getting it anyways..

Oh & that has to be the most original demo limitation I have ever seen..

:D thats my guitar encoded at 8-bit, I'm just afraid some funksters who jam in F# will enjoy it!

I was talking about the pong :D Or can that be disabled?

Oh, that only happens if you click on the Lucifer logo from a certain graph! Click on the credits to go back to normal graph.

though thats not a bad idea for demo limitation :D

I found + fixed another bug ( the ABCD graphs not updating in Orion). uploaded a new PC demoversion to devine-machine website!
