I know nobody who makes smusic should try to master his stuff
Shall I start with EQ then multibandcompr then leveler? Or comressor first?
thanx for any Infos

If you master your track, always leave the mastering limiter/compressor to the end. They define the final peak level, so if you use an EQ, it changes the peak mostly and the limiter looses it's sense.e-modic wrote:hi,

an EQ after the stereo enhancer again? Why?SzM wrote:My chain is:
1.Eq

4.Eq
5.Resample here if needed
6.Limiter
7.Dithering
Personally I prefer Eq after compression - although that does mean you have to pull back the output a little if you're boosting. There is no hard and fast rule - do whichever your ears prefer.I know nobody who makes smusic should try to master his stuff but I only want to do some boosting and equalising on a song, can someone tell me the right order of the FX.

You can put the st enchancer after the eq ,that doesn't count. The second eq is for compensate the changes what the compressor did. Little tweaks makes big difference here. But you need a good monitoring system for mastering, otherwise there's no point about it!e-modic wrote:an EQ after the stereo enhancer again? Why?SzM wrote:My chain is:
