Does anyone have any interesting routing routines for Reason. I use the spider audio and spider cv in conjuction to combine a Maelstrom osc with a subtractor patch while routing them both to two matrix sequencers that handle notes and effects. Any other tricks out there

Yes sometimes i use malstrom as a filter effect for subtractor, and sometimes i play 2 synths with 1 matrix.
I also use matrix as a one fingered arpeggiator + making a drumloop in dr. rex to play my bassline, and alot more ....

I would suggested checking out the 3.0 upgrade. The new combinator pathces have tons of interesting routing options...the beta patches are awesome!

When I was younger I used to be in doubt. These days I'm not so sure.

Do you have Peff's book yet? Those who do own it say it's packed with great ideas that exploit Reason's routing capabilities in all sorts of ways. I'm planning to buy it even though it's for 2.5 -- Good ideas don't get obsolete fast. :-)
Also, EditEd4TV is selling a CD of tips and tricks. I pre-ordered when he first made it available (possibly the first order). Check out the Propellerhead User Forum for ordering info. Ed's a super guy, and knows this stuff inside and out.

i would second the reasonstation suggestion ...
well try splitting up a signal in different frequencies, process them differently etc...
"morph" between two synths (or more) playing the same line with mixing desk volume automation (even with lfos...the cv splitter has normal and inverted output) etc...
well ok, it´s not a real morph *g* more kinda cs1x morph (anyone remembers that?)...
