it would appear that, whilst i am in favour of 'gash', the winner is "cubase sucks".
so, the phrase would be
"In a 'cubase sucks' host, you are more restricted in your routing options".
it has already been demonstrated in other posts on the board. i believe DSP has adopted it as a standard term already. as have i.

Also, there are far worse things than Cubasis. For example, not being able to afford Cubasis. Now, that sucks.
