Idea?

I just thought: It would be nice with a virtual producer. Someone you could send your snippets, ideas, half finished tracks to and get some feedback. I'm not talking about posting in forums, but get some kind of working relation going. It could easily be reciprocal(?). You do mine, I do yours.
What thinks?

Audioshots' Auditorium site is kinda like that already; you can upload any file & there's a forum section specifically for collaboration projects I'm a mostly absent mod on, so maybe you should check that out. We need to bump exposure to The Auditorium; it's a pretty kick ass companion to KvR, but needs some more members, so go check it out:

What I thought was, that it would be nice to have a professional relationship with one or two people who you trusted, and who would review your work in depth while you would do the same. Forums aren't that great for the in depth thing...

I mean there's always PM here as well Respy. That's how I met and worked with so many great people here.
But don't PM me, I'll PM you... (Standard Hollywood protocol you understand.

How much do you charge an hour? That could make me feel REAL bad... Chilly Palmer killing bad if you know what I mean? But a good rate - then I'd say I feel pretty good, take one of your mints, and not keep ol' Dennis Hopper waiting at Spaggo's.
You wouldn't want me to upset Dennis now would you?

I think forums are great – because if you do get some advice from others – others can read and see how the thread progresses and learn from it that way.respirator wrote:I just thought: It would be nice with a virtual producer. That’s how they work – or – should work. With regards to what you are asking for.
What I want to know – who is going to sit all day writing to people via private PM as their one on one tutor? – for free?
Share the knowlage imo - between you - openly
Best regards,

If you like someone here, you PM them and say 'Could you take a listen to what I'm working on please. I really think you've got great tastes, so I would trust your judgement immensely. Thank you in advance.'
