It's not like I haven't tried - but I can't seem to get the 'Fire Starter' SOnic BOOOM on Cubase, or REASON - and the 'ONE MORE TIME' BOOM. I think I need a better COMPRESSOR than REASON has. Are there any decent FREE (or cheap) compressors on KVR or elsewhere that I could download. Again, this is mainly for a kickbase.
What I usually do to approximate the sound is side trigger the KICK so it jumps the BASS and compress it a lot. I also apply lots of reverb. And then Compress it again. But the Reason 2.5 compressor kind of stinks.
