Kittens are about 20-40% better.

Just came up with a new name for a band:
The Silicone Kitties!
Seriously, have you tried both demos? Which works best with your workflow?

Demo and Demo again. No one can tell you which is better. It's up to you! I love Sonar and hate Cubase SX but that's just my experience. I love ES335s but hate Les Pauls. But so what? It's a matter of taste. For a complex hosts like Sonar or Cubase you need to establish an MO and see which gets in the way the least. I can tell you that these apps are very different approaches to doing many of the same things.

Bearded one I share your love for the ES-335, but I prefer the models from the 1970s with the Trapeze tailpiece over the newer models with the "stop" tailpiece. I wish that Gibson would make them that way again, it just looks so much classier to me.

If there is such a thing as reincarnation, I would love to come back in a future life as some babes cat. How cool would that be??!!! This makes me envy kittens. This would definately take the drudgery out of practicing.
BTW I use Sonar 4 PE and like it very much.

as for the answer to the question. by all accounts the answer is nuendo.
not that i use it myself. cubase won't allow you to do everything nuendo can. sonar won't let you do everything nuendo can.
personally i prefer a decent host.
and my taste in titties has changed throughout the years...............
