OMG. Professionals are those who live off their music. I am SO sure Kraftwerk could NOT live of the money they make off their latest album. So if they're trying to prove a point, it's not working.

What the f**k are you going on about?

Every single film post production session I've of sat in on uses Pro Tools and plenty of software (and hardware) effects in the mixing proccess.

And all of my film composer friends heavily rely on GigaSampler and tons of other plugins.

Here's a thought... if you don't know what you're talkin' about...

LOL! All professional studios use "real stuff". Not crappy software plugins.

By this I can only assume you mean the studios that earn more than kraftwerk...

Professional studios are in the business of recording and/or mixing, not generating sound from softsynths. With that said, many have plugins, others make you rent DAW's and plugins from a 3rd party (or bring your own rig).

My dentist doesn't use softsynths and he's a pro.
