I loaded a sample into the sampler channel yet when I play it across my midi keyboard it triggers the same note all the way across. In other projects I have played samples, the same ones as now, and the note corresponded to the midi key, how do I make it do that?

one the channel setting box (the one that appears when you clich on the instrument in the pattern) there is a knob to change the timestretching. Make sure it is turned off, which is all the way to the left. A right click on the knob will also give this selection. It should play up and down the keyboard at different pitches now.

I don't know. Someone suggested opening up a sampler channe and rightclicking on none before you load the sample, and that somehow sets a new default, but i haven't paid attention well enough to know if that works.

It seems to me you can do a template with those kinds of setting saved......then when you open that template it will be the way you want. I could be wrong, but it seems I could do that.7thsense wrote:hey is there any way to keep it set all the way left? when I load new samples it keeps going to auto detect.
I don't know about the global setting. Isn't it called macro or something different in fl?

template is a good idea, but you would have to guess at how many sampler channels you'd use and set them all once before you saved it. -not sure if it really saves the work of just tweaking the knob on every sampler channel.
