Yeah, having played in bands like the Blu Hippos (our crowning glory was leading off for both Husker Du and the Replacements back in '81) I was often lectured on my dereliction of this duty, because I really liked prog rock like Rush and fusion like the Mahavishnu Orchestra (I mean, I was a 15 year old drummer for gods sake), although I was given the most shit for liking Led Zep (perhaps because of their heavy presence on "classic rock" radio).
