Squids:
Hope all is going well on the sampling front.
For a year and half, I've been holding out switching from the PC to the MAC due to Apple's acquisition of Emagic. I finally took the plunge and have started to move my plugins from the PC to the MAC.
(WHAT A PAIN). I tried loading SS2 but am required to give some serial number from Sample Tank. Is there any work around since I don't think I will run Sample Tank on the MAC OSX? I tried using the serial number that came with Sample Tank LE that was included in SS1, but that didn't work. I have 9 days left to rectify this.
Thanks, (you can e-mail me directly with the solution if it involves any secret codes!)

Yeah, your registgration of Sonik Synth 2 is its own. It has nothing to do with a separate SampleTank anymore. You CAN use it within ST but you don't have to.
So, the SS2 serial can be authorized on several of your machines.
Hope all is well. There's plenty of ProSoloist samples in there just for you!

Dave:
Thanks for the Pro Soloist samples - they sound great. But, one question - where is my SS2 serial number? All I got were the discs.

You should have received a registration card with your SS2 disks that had the serial number on it. I don't see how you could have registered it the first time on your PC without this number, since once you enter that, you then receive the authorization code in an email from IK that will activate SS2.AdInfinitum wrote:But, one question - where is my SS2 serial number? Also, if you kept the authorization code email from IK, that will also contain your serial number. I always keep both electronic and printed versions of these emails just in case.
If you actually never previously loaded SS2 on your PC and never had a serial number in the first place, or just misplaced it and cannot relocate it, then you probably need to contact IK to get a serial number.

How could I possibly answer that? It's not like I handle the shipping and packaging myself. In fact, I didn't even know you ordered it (but I knew you were going to at some point and I am glad you did). Anyway, the product ships with a blue card that has the serial number on it. If you didn't get that card then you should contact support@esoundz.com and go over the details of your shipment.AdInfinitum wrote:Dave:

You mean you don't do EVERYTHING???
I got the upgrade from SS1 - there was no golden ticket or blue card with a serial number in the DD case, just the discs. On the PC, SS2 merely checked to see if I had SS1 loaded already. I guess I'll try loading SS1 on the Mac and then reload SS2 to see if that works. I also wrote to ezounds for help.
Thanks.
