Do TV shows count? The Pretender was f**king terrible but whoever did the incidental music did a great job. I watched quite regularly just because I enjoyed the soundtrack. Generally though, my idea of a good soundtrack is one that you don't even notice. On that score [pun intended] Graeme Revell, ex-SPK, is close to unbeatable.

You mean Klaus Kinski? Yeah, Popol Vuh did the soundtrack for Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht (as well as some other Werner Herzog films), but that doesn't count here, as Herzog's Nosferatu is one of the greatest vampire movies of all time. Beautiful update of the 1922 classic Nosferatu, eine Symphonie des Grauens.Sicklecell666 wrote:The Nosferatu with Clause Minski had some great early ambient stuff.

Amazing! When I saw the title of this thread the first movie I thought of was Phantom of the Paradise. Loved that movie as a kid. Even had the 8-trackSteven West wrote:And one other - and it's actually a cool B movie... Phantom Of The Paradise. Paul WIlliams was a little genius with all the songs on that soundtrack I thought. Like it much better than 'Rocky Horror Picture Show'.
