ouroboros wrote:wait a sec, do you have the registered version? If so, then you have to enable multi-outs, and sync up the diner channels on the gui to the midi in channels of the synths you want to drive. Sorry if I'm being redundant, but midi stuff has taken me a while to work out.
Consider me a new guy with FL, I've had it forever but never really used it..I can load Scylla err..Diner into a channel loaded with eXT, but not without. Where do I make these setting adjustments?

yeah, it's registered.

I've done that & no go :x

I can load eXT & it works fine if I load it in that & assign another FL channel to eXT's, but no worky directly in FL..

Same top left drop down box on the synth pane. Look for the small triangle.

@normal: Sickle's is the multi-out version so there are some extra steps involved aren't there?

yes, yes..I did that already..

What about Diner's midi in channel? does that need to be assigned anything in particular?

midi in not applicable ...

diner port out # should = the port in # of what you want to drive ...

Diner does not need to have a midi in channel assigned. (unless you were trying to trigger it with a synth). You do need to set the port out. The pisser is that the box in the right displays either midi in or midi out, but you don't know which unless you tap the drop down menu on the left of the wrapper and see which is selected.

As soon as Diner out port#=synth port in#, music starts playing for me.

well, make sure the synth is selected as "midi in" -prob. already have. That is indeed maddening, and probably has to do with your midi configuration.

The picture looks right though.
Damn. That is frustrating.
