Top Gun indeed - great movie... Lame dated soundtrack.

One movie I had hopes for, just because of Sean Penn was 'Casualties Of War'. He's great in it - Michael J. Fox...? Oh come on Mallory, what were you thinking!!!

But talk about a horrendous smaltzy melancholy soundtrack. 101 Strings Muzak - BLEEECH!

Some Japanese anime composers seem addicted to dramatic over-use of the "Orchestra Hit" instrument on dated CASIO keyboards...

Mad Max/Road Warrior [depending on where you're from]. The ridiculously OTT orchestral arrangements make it laughable.

I havent read any of the previous posts, so I'm not sure if anyone has brought up A CLOCKWORK ORANGE. It takes the cake.

Good flicks with HORRID soundtracks...
