I don't know if I should post this here or in the instruments forum.:?:
I made 4 loops using the original Cortex drum sampler from Psychic Modulation and some sounds from our Drums/percussions kits.

Each loop features only 4 or 5 different sounds but they are modulated in Cortex to give a wider range of tones. Download them below, and give some feedback!!

Number 1

Number 2

Number 3

Number 4

Which one do you prefer?

Post

8) 2 and 3 are my faves.
I like the weird groove on 2, like slow tumbling rythmic springs. 3 seems to have more complex background noises and interesting synth sounds.
Cool stuff :)

If enough people answer to this, I will make a tally.

Nice! My favorites are 2 and 4. Number 2, like jack said, has all those weird-ass springs and bounces in it which makes it stand out. Number 4, is that the prepared rhodes I hear in that one?....I like it.....it's almost got a dark hip-hop kinda feel to it.

Excellent stuff. 8)

Peace! 8)

Sorry ToTc, I know how you like the Prepared Rhodes but there isn't in any of those 4 loops, only the Drums/percussions kits modulated by Cortex.

So, 2 votes for number 2, any other votes?

After listening to them with a fresh hear, I will vote myself for number 2 though number 4 came close to get my vote.
