FL goofing in Rewire or VSTi mode from within T1

A list of the problems im having.

With rewire :

1. In rewire mode, with host T1, FL does not show the host tempo, defaults to 140. plays at correct tempo, but triggers all notes seqenced in FL and arranged in the patter seq. twice, leading to a flanging sound, most obvious with percussions. Correcting the tempo within FL rectifies the problem. I can change FL tempo while it is in REwire mode, this does not change the playback speed in FL. I have slave to host tempo enabled.

2. I want to use a pad that I downloaded from samplefusion in FL. With the midi seq. in Tracktion. what is the correct instrument to load in FL ? if i load the sampler, it will not show in T1. The Audio clip player does show.

3. Browsing samples in the FL browser stalls the machine, I have to reboot. I downloaded the dream pads samples from samplefusion. My machine freezes every time I browse through em, randomely.

AS a vsti

1. Have been trying to use the Multi out VSTi. Load an instance into a rack. Load the rack onto a track. The rack plug does not have any options of where to send the midi data. Select the Midi clip and define it a midi channel, worked with Channel 2 for the bass. In fl's step seq, I have the TS404 module loaded as the second track. But does not work for much else. Kindly explain.

Thanks for all help.

I failed to work it out. I tried Rewire and FL wants to count in every time I sync it to T. Then, how the heck do I actually record from this thing? It seems clumsy.
As for VSTi....not good at all.

Corection to point no.2 for Rewire.

When i start T1 and FL, the sampler track in FL shows up in T1. A quick toggle between the two (or maybe any other action) makes it dissapear from the T1 rewire plug output selector.

eg. When loaded I had the option of selecting PAD_light, as an output on the first T1 track. PAD_light is a pad sample loaded in the FL sampler, which is second in the step seq. I did a toggle and now, i no longer have the option of outputting to PAD_light in T1, all it shows is FL2...

im irritated.

leave an enpty bar in the beginning, and then make sure the FL anchor window is set to 0 quater notes delay. It defaults to -8.

Which brings me to another query, to load FL as a rewire slave to T1, one need to launh FL from within T1 by first inserting a rewire plug on one of the tracks. Trying to launch FL for the first time with a new session will result in FL not recognising itself in rewire mode. Now when we laung FL from within T1, the FL anchor window does not show up, and this is where you set your note latency.

However, after this first, if you first laung T1, load the session and then launch FL (not from within T1) FL launches in rewire slave mode along with the anchor window.

But very lame overall....
