Ive got a DX7 hooked into FLstudio as a VSTI controller, but FL does not recognise the mod wheel. I looked in the docs, but could not find anything useful. Does anyone know, specifically, how I can get my mod wheel working in FL? BTW, it works fine (by default) in Sonar; so its not the device.

All you need to do is "link to controller" If it's a native FLS synth you just right click whatever part you want to control and choose "link to controller". If it's a vst then you just move a knob and then go to the wrapper menu and choose last tweaked parameter, or browse parameters, and then "link to controller" again.

yeah this is very weird as FL works nicely otherwise, why can't a mod wheel just work by default???

Unfortunately, that only works sometimes, with some instruments. The "last tweaked" often skips the mod wheel and links to the one before it. Other times, it's simply all grey'd out. Definately, this is one very important thing that need to be addressed in FL.

Thanks for the info.
