Guitar effects - hardware help

I would like to get Guitar Pod or V-Amp 2 which is 2 times cheaper but It not possible to try it in the store. I need it for garage jam , and can someone reccomad me what to get ?

Is it worth to pay 2 times mor for Pod 2 or I could be happy whit V-amp 2

I need a crounch blues and rock sound.

if you've got a puter, I'd recomend the free Guitarsuite plugins!!! totally awesome!

beats anything I've heard! add it to some Electronic piano or whatever...totally authentic.

I use a VAmp2 for all my guitar stuff. It sounds good, is dead easy to use and setup, and you'll have enough left over to buy a spare guitar with the difference in price with a Pod. For tidiness, I'd buy the Pro rackmount, as the desktop squashed blue alien sprouts cables all over the shop. One thing you do need to watch is if you're running it at full master volume, adjust the noise gate accordingly.

I'm sure you'll be very happy with the v-amp2 (I certainly am...). There's really no good reason to buy the POD2; PODxt is a different story...

Zavisi za shta zhelish da ga koristish, i koliko ozbiljan zvuk zhelish da dobijesh. Niti jedan od njih necje zameniti ozbiljno snimanje dobre gitare sa dobrog pojachala. Ako cjesh samo raditi demo kod kucje, pa cjesh to kasnije snimati ponovo, ozbiljnije u studiju, vamp ti je sasvim dobar. Ako zhelish da neke od gitara uradish za finalni proizvod, POD XT je zvuchno mnogo ozbiljniji od Vamp2. Na prvi pogled mogu ti zazvuchati slichno, ali u matrici, POD mnogo bolje lezhi, gushcji je, dok vamp nestaje, kao da ima redji raster. Pretpostavljam da je i logichno sa obzirom da su tu tehnologija Line 6 prvi razvili, a behringer je samo pokushava imitirati. Znachi izbor ti zavisi od toga koliko novca imash i da li cje ti to biti finalne gitare.
