i have just finished producing a track and looking to master it myself, i've seen a few link's posted here before but wasn't sure which tutorial would be the best one to go by. Obviously much like music itself, mastering is an artform.

I haven't actually read it myself, but the ozone user manual is supposed to be a great guide on mastering, even if you're not using ozone.
