I remember how to do in Acid. But is there a way to do this in Live at all?

Please tell me that it's possible.:help:

Any Live-users at all? :help:

Post

use the scale plugin...

Post

the scale plug is only for midi.
TVD, im assuming you mean changing the pitch of loops right?

In the clip properties box at the bottom there is a knob that says "transpose", twist it. Hope you get better results than I did.
Not bad meaning bad but bad meaning good

Post

Transpose on the Clip Properties.

Example:

Turning the song from C Major to F Major.

This can be done in Acid Pro. But what about Live? :help:

I think that you would be much better off using Acid than Live for this... it's much easier and quicker to do in Acid, and you will get much better results.

As others have said, in Live you have to change each clip one by one, and the results are not always very convincing.

[EDIT]You beat me to it.

He already answered your question. In the session view, mark the first clip, transpose it +5 semitones. Then proceed to the second clip.

afaik there's no global pitch setting, though.

For MIDI clips, there's a internal plugin but I forgot the name.

This is tragic. :(

Well back to old drawing board (read: Acid)

Live has let me down again.

Or maybe not!

I can still change the song's key in Audition.

Now how did I overlook that? :dog:

In case you miss anything, It just dawn on me that I can do this in Audition.

Yeah - didn't know you had that :-)

Audition has a lot of Acid's functionality, and is capable of some very impressive timestretching. Have fun!
