I'll upload the SJ Orchestra to the Auditorium later on.
Need some confirmation about where to put it first.

The file is uploading right now to the Auditorium.
As soon as Spe3d sorted things out I'll inform you!

Thank you, Sascha,

There are a few good patches in the bank, they play well in their desired range. Also some nice touches like the string gliss and the mellowpad+ this font works really well in SFZ

It’s a 35 MB odd download and expands to 70 odd MB as its in a Ark.exe file – should help make the download quicker.

Its in the Large File area in the Sounds Section. (this should reveal itself when logged in)

Best regards,

Peter

I have it and would upload it as well, but I'm defenitely not sure about legal issues.
It was free to download, but I can't find either the site or further information about legal rights.

hm. A moderator at audioshots seems to have become... let's be kind and say "confused", and took down this file after mistaking the sfArk license agreement for the actual sf orchestra agreement. Does anyone have another source, or could someone kindly yousendit to me?

Hello! yes thats me who you are calling the "confused" mod

Its down as I do not know if this can be used in a commercial mix or not.

And it is decided to stay with 'original' samples where you can talk with the actual person who created the samples from now on = much better way to go. :D

I have very clear outlines there and I need copyright to be displayed with these kinds of things - if there is none, it will be deleted = even this file.

I have put the rules etc in one place here

I still can't find the download! The link to the Auditorium tells me to 'right click and save as' or whatever, but where's the file?

As the last post from Sp3ed will tell you, the download link is removed now due to possible legal incertainties.

Anywhere else that we might find the vaunted SJO font?

When I use squidfont, the legato violins and celli at least seem out of tune to me. But when I check them with Voxengo's FFT analyzer, A=440Hz!!!

Maybe it's the Trachtman Steinway font that I use often, but when I check that - A=440Hz as well.

can someone who is not running a commercial site (and therefore needs to be extra careful about copyrights) post this somewhere? Maybe just for a minute? ;)

thanks
