Getting drums sounding right for DnB

I am fairly new to this, so please excuse me ignorance.

I'm having difficulty with imported 175bpm (using intakt sampler in logic 5.5.1) sounding tight. I have played with pitch and offsetting other notes in the mix, but I just can't get that lovely tight production sound that i know is possible.

Can anyone here shed any light

For everything drums and *cough* stealing music from others (i.e. drum'n'bass) you better go here

Please post an audio example. Without hearing it nobody will able to judge what your sound is missing.
But be careful not to post illegal samples!
