Which sequencers for windows have notation?

Cubase and Sonar I know, but are there any others.

But you can't get it for PC anymore.

I was hoping that notation was coming to tracktion 2 but there isn´t any mention about that.

How about a notation program with a sequencer? Overture is a notation program that has sequencing functionality...soon, an update to Overture 4 will make it a true VSTi host!

(GPO comes with Overture SE)

Good luck!

Or Powertracks Pro from pgmusic

I can heartily recommend Melody Assistant too. But, again, that means doing notation in a seperate program.

I think a lot of sequencers lack notation support because it's hard to really handle notation well enough to make it a coherant part of the software. Alot of sequencers that try to add notation support make a really bad job of it. Also, it's hard to humanise MIDI sequences without screwing up the notation part. Though it can be done.

If I recall correctly, Magix Music Maker Studio also has a notation editor. But it might just be a relic from it's Logic days.

Thanks for replies.

Melody assistant looks very nice. 20 € only. Midi in & out, tabulatures + other goodies. Even virtual singer sounds almost as convincing as Cantor or Vocaloid.
