Hey, I just loaded 5.02, and noticed it will open with the sequencer AND the mixer now... Woo Hoo! ...o.k. everybody go back to what they were doing

Now if they could just ge the step sequencer to open up in dxi mode. As it is, I have to click the SS button 3 times to get it to show up....

Hmmm... I don't think I loaded DXi mode when I installed, but isn't that what it was doing before... It would either load the sequencer OR the mixer, but not both, on startup...

Yep, that SS thing is kinda annoying, it would be nice if it didn't do it
I like my things to pop up after one click rather than 3.

what about using the F* keys? f5 f6 f7 f9 - it's simpler and quick as can be.

The issue was... having Fruity open with "your" workspace set up! I like to open it and have a basic setup, with the mixer and sequenecer, and my drum setup... I also had fx (and windows) already loaded for the mixer... But Fruity, would not open with the sequenecer and the mixer on startup, and all the FX windows (that were loaded as well) disappeared... and then you had to hit multiple keys to get everything back again... inconvenient, that's all!

I finally got around to playing with the 5.0.2 version and some synths do nothing but burp and crackle
rhino and albino to be sure
no matter what soundcard I use or how high up I push the latency (200 msec should be enough, eh?)
while some others like Tera and NI synths work just fine
thinking I might have a bad download
i re-d/l'ed and re-installed 5.0.2 last night and the same thing.
is this just my little world or are there some known problems with 5.0.2?
(and before anyone asks yes, I am a registered user with one of those lifetime update d/l deals)

Wrench quit using Craxxors
seriously though, I use Rhino 2 all the time with FL5.02, so I dont think its a problem with FL or rhino. mebbe a reinstall will do it for ya..

indeed, so many problems in the world...Vegetarian wrote:I like my things to pop up after one click rather than 3.
or, if you prefer, i've got another witty reply:
did you try a velcro zip instead?
one scratch and your things pop up without effort.

I did one re-install already, but I didn't clean things out first
it seems odd that only some synths are affected and others are fine
