Oh dear. It would appear that I have been putting the incorrect version of SR-202 on the CM CDROM and have never published 1.01C. Danmit, my fault entirely *sniff* - no wonder this forum is so crammed with SR202 support requests...

Please, for all that are having problems, visit Muon and download the 1.01C patcher - this will help resolve most of your difficulties:

Sorry for the cock up, flame away :(

Good news is that it would appear the 1.01D betas are going well, wont be long now :) - lets hope i can get it right when it does hit the final version (no i will really - honest ;) )

Red ... CM is always about 116 pages long.

Is there a reason for this?

Just asking :D

Well, if you take the average speed of your average mac and divide it by the average speed of your slightly more than average Pc you get a total which, when divided by 1024 and multiplied by the square route of C and M you get 116. ermm... no thats not right...

Red,

I shouldn't worry too much about v1.01C. The newest one, v1.01D that we're testing now really does seem to fix pretty much all of the reported instability problems.

In light of what you've said though I've re-jigged our patches a little. If you download:

http://www.muon-software.com/customers/SR202101D.zip

You'll get a seperate updater for each version of SR202 that CM published. There's a seperate updater for the "version that got away" also. Make sure you select the correct updater for your installed version of SR202 and patch away.

I've done something similar with the v1.01C updater which is still available from the Muon website, but there's no need for anyone to download this unless they particularly desperately want what is now a superceded version.

Hope this helps
Dave

Question - why haven't we seen Dxi versions of any of the CM softsynths? There are people who use Sonar out here too!

Watch this space - I can't promise anything but its a definite possibilty.

Well, glad to know you're thinking about us Dave! :)

Well, right at this minute we're beta-testing DXi versions of Tau Pro and Electron. The planned release date for those is Monday so watch out for those!!

The same technology we used to do the conversion *could* be applied to the CM plugins, but there are a few business issues that need to be sorted out before that can happen.

Kind regards
Dave
