"cannot open rewire2 system" error reason 2.0

i know this question has been asked plenty of times but i cannot get an answer anywhere. i have reason 2.0 for mac. i had traktion installed but deleted it because this problem. also had the ableton live demo but also deleted it because i couldn't open reason at all so i figured it had to do with one of those programs. reason worked fine before i installed the other 2 programs.
any help is much appreciated.

nevermind. i just deleted everything (reason, ableton, traktion) and restarted then reinstalled for the third time. and it worked. it's working it's working!
