Beautiful band.Iris
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, they're playing at my festival in August:

Is it any wonder I never get any music made. Too busy!

It's my Mum's fault for making me spend my pocket money on Soft Cell records instead of comics.wow you have fingers in lots of pies - good ones too!

Good move!reminds me of the time when i planned to obtain my driving license (that's expensive over here)...and decided to buy a second-hand wavestation instead...
All kinds of people hang out on here but underneath it all I guess we're all just freaks who love synths.
Cool innit?

First year at university I ran out of food and money one week.
The cheque my long suffering parents mailed to bail me out wouldn't clear for another 2 days.
And I bought "Songs Of Faith & Devotion" by Depeche Mode with my last £10.
Madness. Ha ha.

Wow. As one of (:hihi:) Nottingham's biggest Depeche Mode fans, can I just say well done.
The change of key, the DM style low pianos (BONG! - what instument are you using for this?), the extra riffs all really work. Sounds like pre-Violator DM!
The vocoding works brilliantly as well. I wish I'd done it!

Analogue or digital – which is better? There's only one way to find out... FI-I-IGHT!!!

yeah, it was only after I'd finished the track that I realised how fitting that deep piano sound is - it's just a soundfont that I picked up free called "piano concert grand" - it's 2,711kb if that's any help in identifying it...
It took me ages getting the vocals and vocoder right, especially as the bpm of the samples was approx 97bpm and the finished track is 127! I had to use fruity granuliser - the fruity stretch feature is great in theory but when it comes to using it in a track I found a complete pain in the arse

You should do 'Flies on the Windscreen'.

not sure if I know that one, would probably recognise it... thanks for the suggestion but the remix was just an experiment for fun - I've got more important tracks to make!
