Cubase SX 3 doesn't recognize microphone and line in

pannewb - Its not the job of Cubase to switch inputs from line to mic on your sound cards. Its your creative drivers that select the inputs. One you have done that you need to make sure that the vst settings in Cubase are pointing to the right drivers. In all honesty you wont get Cubase working at its best with that game card.
