vst folder contents

maybe a silly question...but....not all the vst plugins will show up in the processing pop up in apps. Any ideas.

try dragging the plugins into the actual application window while it is running (but not during playback, of course). this might force the host to register the plugin.

Also, the problem might be particular to the combination of your host, the plugin and your operating system. A good place to start would be to send a bug report the developer, ask them if they know what might cause it.
