You're missing a point here. I think many people, myself included, visit this forum to exchange impressions, views, and experiences in the field of audio applications. This allows us to get a better feel of what's available and how it is received by "the community". To give an example, it is thanks to the lavishing remarks in various KVR threads that I am the proud owner of PSP Vintage Warmer. If everybody would just 'shut the f*ck up' as quincy suggests, I think many smaller software companies making fine products would have great difficulty in keeping their heads above the water.

So, what, a company isn't allowed to change direction once a product has been launched?

Albino was just an example, of course you can layer any number of synths and samplers ranging in CPU and price. Which just adds to my point, in Reason you can only "combine" two types of synths (Subcraptor and Maelstrom) and 1 sampler (I dont count NN19).
In EXT you can combine THOUSANDS of types of synths and samplers.

thats why I said "in some peoples minds". Personally I just think reason is an app that can be used and abused in so many ways that the props are just acknowledging different ways that users are ,errrr, using it.

Not really. Its a great piece of software.

There have been rumors, very faint and probably unreliable, that, quite possibly, the Props have also been working on a totally new amazingly innovative product the last few years, in addition to the Reason 3 update.

We shall see...we shall see.
