Yes, above 15% aren't particulalry useful for natural sounding reverb. I only made it to have such a large range so that user could create insane sounds as well as natural. 15% roomsize corresponds to the 1st comb delay time to be 15ms, the 6th to be 22.5ms i.e. the ratio between the 1st and last comb is 1:1.5.

The delay times for the rest of the comb filters is chosen to be in between these values.

So instead of roomsize being the sum of the delays of the combs which is normally done, I chose it to be the delay for the 1st comb, from which all others are chosen.

In conclusion, 15% really means approx. 110ms total. I just wanted to have such a large range so that one could create some stupid sounds essentially as well as natural sounds.
thanks for explaining...

however I think the problems is, as it is now, that the really useful area is hard to finetune because it is such a small part of the scale...

Ok, thanks to everyone who gave me fedback,

I have tried to make the interface a little more useable. I changed the font colour to black so it is more visible. I didn't have time to do a new background, as my uni presentation is on monday so have to get on with preperations for that!

With regards to the crashing for the highest value of roomsize, I have no idea why that is happening to be honest. I have tried using audiomulch, cubase sx 2.20 and another host I cant remember the name of and it doesn't do it to me. weirdness!

Not that you would really want any value over around 20% in any case as i mentioned earlier.

If anyone else has anything to say, preferable nice ;) hehe, then please post here. Anything bad to say, well say it too, good for evaluation.
Finally I hope you like it and use it!

Regards,

EddieH

p.s. newest version with help button and better interface is online at the usual place..
