I'm sitting in my room with Sony 700's BLARGING into my ears. I've tried Dieselboy, Dom and Roland, Tech Itch, Korn, Marylin Manson, Metallica, all that fun. It just seems the hardest metal and darkest Drum n' Bass just aren't doing the job.
So let me ask you: What songs do you listen to when nothing else seems hard enough?

Deicide, Some of the Melvins (e.g. "The Maggot"), Mastodon, the first album by Fantomas.
But above all, the Dillinger Escape plan.

And maxing out your speakers with Dillinger Escape Plan's cover of Aphex Twin's Come To Daddy makes for twice the wacky.Hellbilly wrote:Maxing out your speakers with Aphex Twin's Come To Daddy is pretty wacky too.

I think LA Blues must be the ancestor of Zorn's HC stuff. One of the most rocking freakouts ever!Bunnyboy wrote: The Stooges - LA Blues

The John Zorn/Mike Patton track Leviathan is another good brutal one, also a bit more mainstream metal, so it might be a good place for newbies to the Zornmetal world to start.
Remember the whole "Clapton is God" thing? Considering that Zorn is Jewish, I wants me a "Zorn is G-d" bumpersticker! One of the craziest and most versicle f**kers on the planet.
