Best albums to pass out to?

I might get flamed for this, but I've always liked drifting to Enigma's MCMXC a.D. album... I seem to pass out somewhere after 'Callas Went Away'...

Good times... though perhaps a bit cheezy by todays high standards!

Vangelis -- Heven and Hell, Beaubourg

You'd never ever want to pass out to these ! You will never wake up ! worse still have nightmares for the rest of your life.

I love Vangelis' music, especially his early stuff and have to recommend Antarctica and Soil Festivities for the above purpose.

I have just jumped in without reading the whole thread, so appologies if I'm repeating, but Brian Eno's APOLLO is simply sublime.

Also, Kitaro's Oasis. 70's new age electronic noodles at its best. Chill to these !

If you want classy new age music that's not cheesy or pretentious try Weave, a CD called Sei He Ki. Really, really nice.

I usually pass out to the TV now, but back in the day when I did pass out to music, some fifteen years ago, Roxy Music's Avalon always did the trick....

He's primarily a producer. Does movie and television
soundtracks. His sound is similar to another Ambient master Patrick O'Hearn, if you're familiar.

Both these artists are well worth checking out.
