It may be added in a future update as one of the controllers. The only way to add it as a controller now is to use a midi remapping tool which there are some out there (perhaps even a host like Energy XT can do it- I'd have to check but someone here would surely know). If you can remap Aftertouch to any of the midi CCs that SS2 has in it's controller list then you can do it. Eventually I think we'll have Aftertouch and velocity in the list itself conveniently. It's been requested.

If you're using Cubase SX, I can give you step by step instructions on how to do it.

1) Insert the Transformer on a MIDI track (using the inspector)
2) Set up the transformer with the following rules:

Action (top left pulldown menu): Transform

Top window:
Type Is Equal (to) Aftertouch

Bottom Window:
Value 2, Use Value 1
Value 1, Set to Fixed Value, 3
Type, Set to Fixed Value, Controller

I have this saved as a Transformer preset. It converts incoming aftertouch into CC#3 (I chose 3 because nothing else uses it, and it's easy to remember). If you want aftertouch to be transformed to modwheel, change the "3" in the rules to "1".

Yep.

Of course, the downside is that it's monophonic. MIDI CCs, you know...

Good for channel aftertouch though which is mono anyway.
