Can anyone tell me how to get Sampletank to stop crashing Cubase? I downloaded the latest update and now I can't even use Sampletank in Toby VST host. I'm a newbie so please bear with me. Thanks in advance for any help

First of all, you should do what Jeez said....give us more information and/or contact IK support.
That said, I know how frustrating it can be when something goes wackie and you can't figure it out. Here is something you might try.
Because of the file struture of Cubase and VSTs it is possible that during an update you have 2 different version Sampletank.dll files on your computer. Do a find commnad for Sampletank.dll and see what comes up.
It's a wild shot but I had a similar problem when I updated to 2.08. Sampletank would crash Cubase and LIve where it had worked fine before under 2.06.
Of course the problemn wasn't Sampletank. it waS the conflicting .dll's
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the responses. I did have a duplicate .dll and deletd it but still no luck. In Cubase when it boots it gets stuck on Sampltank2 when it's initializing and I get a microsft error and in Tobybear I get the message "Access violation at 01803772 in module Sampltank2.dll. Read of address 000000. Any ideas what might be wrong? I will try IK support also. Thanks.
