Hey Alci - if you ever come across an album called "Dealing With The Dead" by a band called Plan Nine (circa mid 80's approx) - you should check it out on 'shrooms.
They've got like 8 guitarists or something and the only time you can clearly hear all 8 guitars weaving in and out of each other, is at that special moment.
Also, Recycled by Nektar is a winner everytime.
(Not to mention that both of these albums have got insanely psychedelic covers that you can easily get lost in for the duration )

@ Chase - how can you call an original piece of psychedelic art UGLY?
Especially when it's a Jimi Hendrix album cover.
Remember - beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I for one would rather look at that, than a search engine page, which is where your link led me.

Also, mushies are better than acid because you can gauge the strength of your trip by how many you take and you know it's not synthesised from strychnine.

Probably my interest in the type of music I do has been influence by some sort of mind altering substance. When I was a teenager and Psychedelic music was the underground scene my friends and I would partake the lysergic on many accasions, peyote and mushrooms were like a delicacy when we could get them. Shrooms were the best because there were very few side effects, very clean trip. Blacklights and psychedelic posters were there to enhance, not that you needed them.

The last time I did shrooms was in 1985 and it was nice, but I doubt I would ever do it again, the world is too scary a place and I would hate to find myself having to deal with it with no where safe to go.

I did shrooms on St. Patricks Day. So we're in this pub and this Irish guy - archetypal drunk that he was - starts telling me he was gay. Shrooms and drunk Irish guys don't mix. lol.
