Its a sort of rock version of the original release - not very hard, but just sounds so powerful. Amazing.

True story: saw them in Baltimore pre-gish, there were 10 people maybe in the bar, and they were genuinely suprised and pleased that someone knew one of their songs when we yelled out "Tristessa!". Great show.

Mellon Collie and the infinate sadness is in my all time top ten. I saw them at the Brixton academy on the Siamese Dream tour and they knocked me out. Amazing.

and agreed...'Drown' rocks....blows me away everytime listening to that Hendrixian feedback solo at the end

I never liked them. Never could - some guys around were such utter fan-boys I just couldn't stomach the whole scene. But, I can't deny they had talent and I'm glad that people like 'em.
