Wow, very very nice Urs. I d/l this purely to hear how good the filterscape plug was but ended up being taken in by its siblings. FSVA is what I thought ultra analog would sound like (but didn't) and I've always wanted an eq I could modulate the holy hell out of. Going to have to find some money soon. Ah well, got some hardware that's looking kind of redundant now

whoops! sorry for any confusion. i fired off this post while reading the thread from the start and got pissed while reading the posts from fractalism re:his unwillingness to pay a developer for his plug until he made money from it.JamminFool wrote:[edit: aimed at the guy who wanted to pay only after he made money with it...]
is this for real? people work to build this stuff. if you want to use it, pay for it.
this is one of the lamest arguments i have ever heard. when did people start thinking like this? must have something to do with how it became ok to rip off music on the net.
why don't you give your commercial music away to people with the understanding that they will pay you for it only if it makes enough people dance at their parties? if they liked it enough to play it at the party after hearing it on the radio (for example) or hire your band to play live then i'm guessing you would like to be paid, no?
unfortunately, when i got to the end of the thread i became aware that it might appear i was aiming it at people who were jokingly posting about the pre-order price. my bad and i apologize. i could have made that clearer.
i just feel really strongly that good developers should be supported and that they deserve success.
rant off.
