Hi urs

obviously I´m a little late at the party.

well I dléd the scapers and must say great great great.

Dont know if the VA or the Fiter is better or maybe both or only all three together
or maybe the soccerteam
or maybe the elevator
but definitely the team of filterscape plays in the first divison ( Bundesliga) or even better,
in the championsleauge

so I´m looking forward to meet you at the messe and mess around with these wonderfull tools.

just a stupid question, Urs: I tried to get the *.fxp-files into one fxb-file with a little program called "Bankmacher" or so (you simply collect the fxp-files, say GO and save it - even Bochumfans get it ...no this was the LAST time, I promise

. The fxb-file is saved fine, but I can't load it into your filterscape VA so that my EnergyXT would show me the complete list and I could play along.

Well not a big thing in the least, but maybe I'll learn something how to make preset-banks corrrreckt

.

Great to have Filterscape! It's marvellous even at the beginning playing with it!!!!

no probs ... just have to decide now which plugins your 3 replace in my folders (trying to stick to a 1-in-1-out policy these days) ...

... filterscape has finally seen the end of d-pole and zapfilter ... filterscape Q6 will probably see off classic EQ but im struggling to see which synth dies in favour of filterscape VA (the only other 'classic' VAs i have are impOSCar and z3ta+ ... on amount of usage z3ta+ has to go but i cant bring myself to hit delete ... yet ... )

ARRRGHNNNGGRRRKX

I got a pretty problem with banks... you can't just stuff them together, because each .fxp has a different size. Banks pretty much work with the idea of evenly sized presets

The reason behind this is sheer flexibility. Filterscape's presets are essentially a text file of arbitrary length, with an arbitrary number of parameters in an arbitrary order, each line looking like "SVF1:Cutoff=130.02" or "SVF1:Cutoff=0.0". Thus, each line can have a different length.

Why is this?

Because from here (Prototype 1):

over this (Prototype 2):

and this (Prototype 3):

to this (Not a prototype anymore):

... all presets from each version are still compatible to each other version. Even though the number of parameters has gone from tens to hundreds...

(which doesn't mean that I won't think about banks... I just have no clue currently...)

Well... maybe just think of them as 1 plugin. That's certainly make it easier...

And it's no big thing to load fxp-s into Orion, and not in EnergyXT too.
