I've been able to glean some bits from the documentary clips they have on the BBC site. Strings, eh?

Nope - it's actually pretty close to the classic theme - well, it is the classic theme, but more modern.
Anyway, that's enough spoilers until after Saturday evening.
Don't want to spoil it for anybody.

That's odd, one of the sound clips in the documentary bits I was sure had strings with the bassline. Sadly, not Saturday for me. I'm not sure when it's planned to be aired in Canada.

Reading that, I went off and watched the interview with composer Murray Gold.
That dubious version of his (FFS, he compared it to Band Aid! ) is thankfully not the one that's used.

Unless they've changed it?
Hope they keep the original anyway, it's loads better.

Being from the USA, I don't know much about the Dr. Who show, or the original theme music, but I really do like your remix of the theme music. I think you did a superb job. I only have a very vague recollection of the original, but I don't remember liking it nearly as much as yours.

Do you have a longer version available on the internet anywhere?

It's unfortunate about the cheesy musical ending. It almost seems like "The Kriminal and Resonance Theme" following the Dr. Who Theme. Don't worry, I know that's not your doing.
