Since I began trying to learn different perspectives on music (Synthesis, Mixing,etc) I have come across vast amounts of tutorials, mostly in PDF format. I wanted to share these with other people but I don't want to infringe any copyright laws. The anwser to this question i'm sure is quite obvious to many, but sort of unclear to me. Is it ok to post links to these tutorials or to share them with someone? If not, how do I go about clearing everything so I can share these with others? Permission from the Authors/websites? Thanks!

usually posting a link to the original source is fine (AFAIK you can even quote 'reasonable' amounts of text as an illustration or preview) ...
