Is there a piece of gear that you have in your arsenal that you fall in love with all over again when you utilize it? With me it has to be my Yamaha S80. I play all of my other synths and think "Wow, these sound great!", then I goto my Yamaha and am left speechless by the smoothness of the sound. Anyway, that's it for me... What about you?

Ibanez FP-777 stereo phaser pedal. Just got it fixed. Don't know how I lived without it...

I'm like that with most of my porn collection, especially when considering the "smoothness" of the lotion that I've got that week.

Oh you meant synths...well, for me I recently fell in love with Pentagon again. But in all fairness, it was because I got a cool skin that re-inspired me to use it. Anyone who says that GUI has nothing to do with how much work you can be inspired to do needs to go play some Pong.

I like the piano and strings on the S80...tasty.
I've heard of Music Concrete...is there Music Asphalt?

Got to be me geetarr!

Messing round with VSTis and then just picking up the Tele after a bit...

Def the electric guitar, I've just realised the time and effort put into the GT3 to get it sounding half decent studio as well as live has paid off!! Same as mcKenic I've been messing about with virtual so long!!

I've never ever fallen out of love with my wife, my son, or...

my modular:

Or, for that matter, my Kyma.

Everyday is full of reminders of why they are so special (and, like my son, the modular is growing fast!).
There are rocketships outside of my window. Really: www.cosmo.org

My Prophecy.. I just recently bought one after having one a few years ago and it makes me smile a lot. It can be a nasty beast as well. I just  the keyboard action on it.

Everyone at some time in their life should play the preset Trombone patch and use the ribbon to effect a pitch slide. You can't help but enjoy it :D

Very good about your wife and son. They are fortunate to have your unceasing love. :) As for your modular, if you ever happen to fall out of love with it, I will gladly give it space in my home. :hihi: Very nice synth :!:

Technics 1200 Turntables. Every once in a while I'll feel a numark or Vestax that seems to be better, but I'll go home and feel mine and be impressed all over again. I love them, even though they are both being c**ts right now.
