not really sure you'd NEED reverb and delay on piano/organ/clav sounds in a live situation/mix though

thought about that..atlanta traffic is a bitch.
nashville is a bit easier and they've got two nord dealers (guitar center and sam ash) might drive up there Saturday.

yeah, on top of the 1400$ NE2. Doesn't sound that good to me. I usually go with the FOH reverb (if they have mercy for me)

update:
had to make a decision quick, time is running out.
I bought the maudio keystation pro88
I played it a good bit, this one feels pretty nice.
Also bought the Motif rack ES for the bread and butter sounds. Don't have time to run to Nashville this weekend; but I found out B'ham is getting a Guitar Center in the next few weeks, and they carry the Nord stuff, so I'll check out the Electro then. Just had to have something quick, as we're setting up Monday.

hey scuzz - they gave me a cd to give me an idea of what they're doing..I think 'copperhead road' is on there..

I'm pretty confident I have not heard it..I'd better do some research..
I'm going to need some adrenalin for this gig, cause it's only 7:30 pm, and I'm ready for bed already! how am I gonna manage 9-3 on Friday!

good song - corking tune - lyrics could be "kidfriendlier" (I think I just invented a new word

)

9-3 will be a challenge.
I suggest Beta Blockers and iced water down the back.

Sorry I can't offer much advice, I'm more of a simple-live-setup player. I don't even trust my keyboard to work properly. I stick to conga drums and a tambourine. Although I'd love to use Ableton Live live...
