Hi tkay77
We will have a Demo Version soon ...but
It will only be to test the synth on your machine as we can only include a couple of sounds and not the entire product.
So the Demo will not be able to show all the Guitars and Basses etc... There is just no way to do this with a Sample Based product.
That is why we have so many mp3s at the moment, that's the only way to really Demo and Show the products Sounds.
As said though, we will have a basic Demo version to test on your machine very soon but it will be extremely limited in content.
Thanks
Paul

Great news. I need to know if I can actually make sense of it. Wuzikthingy demo was a total loss as far as my ability to program it.

Beardedone
As for programming it .... well it is exactly the same programming wise as WusikStation. So if you did not get the hang of it .... this will not be any different. The only change is the soundsets / samples included and the looks of the gui. It is extremely easy to program though. There is a few things to get your head around but for the most part it really is simple.
Give the Wusik demo another shot Beardedone. Also we hope to have some video tutorials one day that will show some ways to use and program.

Thanks Paul. I will try Wuzik again for the interface. But Wusik doesn't have any sounds I need or want. Manystation appears that it does.
Will the demo allow me to test automation?

As far as i know it will allow automation but I would have to confirm that with William.
Just give the Wusik one a shot though if you want to see untill ours is ready. Our Demo will be the same functionality wise. Again ... the demos will only have a few sounds and unfortunately will not be able to show the entire product properly.
Thanks for the interest .... The sounds are hopefully something you will enjoy.

If automation means recording knob movements, then haveing them play back, it works fine in tracktion as far as i can tell(I was messing with the filters and pans). I don't know that much about it though.
I think there was a pdf book released a little while ago called "How to make noise" or something like that, it used a Wusikengine product in some of its tutorials.

Thanks Max.
Nice to see that JRRT quote!
I do know how automate VSTs and VSTi and do it all the time in Sonar, Fruity, Live 4 and have tried in Tracktion. need to be sure that it is some and the parameters are understandable for me. After buying many instruments I am now extremely wary before I consider anything new because I am finding some just don't work for me. I like Camleon and Albino but can't get my head around Symptohm for example. The Wusik synths may be simple as pie for some for some but even some so called simple synths defy me. Hence the demo requirement.
I have Dr008, Sonic Synth 2, SampleTank 2 XL and Kontakt 1.53 with GPO SR Drum Capsule and Sonic Station. Can anybody tell me if Manystation can enhance this sound set?
Thanks,
Gordon

OK WusikStation demo seems to automate at least in FLS but after 30 minutes it expired and that wasn't enough time for me to make sense of the controls though they seem straightforward mostseen to do nothing at all even though they were active.

Automation works. You can use way more than 30 minutes, just close and open the VST again.
Let me know which parameter you changed that didn't do anything, maybe is not activated. Check the User manual too, as the synth is very complex.

Yeah I will try to spend some time with it. The demosounds are not to my taste though so it's a bit tedious.

I sure hope that the Manystation soundset is much better than that in the WusikStation demo, which I find uninspiring.

Beardedone....
That's not so nice
Let me try to explain a few things here.....
The wusik Demo only shows a couple sounds. It is impossible to Demo a Sample based product. Though you may not like WusikStation ... Look how many people around here do! You can't really Judge it by the Demo.
But if you say that about Wusik .. then you will probably say the same about the ManyStation Demo.... As it will only have a couple Synth sounds basically just to test if it works on your system.
Our Real Product Demo is All the Mp3s we have that were made with ManyStation... It's the only way to show the sounds.
Thats why i am having a Hard time even doing a Demo ....
Because it will only have a TINY part of the product and I know Guys will Download and Go ..."Well thats Crap" (Because i can't put the best stuff in the Demo)
I Can't win man... Your reaction to the WusikStation Demo ,... is exactly my issue with trying to Demo ManyStation properly.
It is impossible. We can't put the best sounds in the Demo. With all the Sample Editors / Convertors out there ... they would be ripped in No Time.

Paul,
I didn't intend to be rude. I see your point and I apologize if insulted anyone. I was just trying to be honest and call it as I hear it. But I am not able to audition what I need to.
From the demos I see that Manystation has an excellent variety of sounds that may be useful. I was fixated on the idea that it is the job of the demo to effectively show the patches and how they may be manipulated. From what I can see there isn't much I can find that modulates them in an interesting way. This has ne concerned. But, I will take your word and that I the many user whom I admire and respect at face value. I will put ManyStation on my list and but it in the near future.
Perhaps I am just jaded and losing my interest in exploring a new instument in meaningful depth.
Sincerely,
Gordon
