Jeskola Buzz machines in other sequencers with VST wrapper

I have been looking for a VST wrapper for Buzz machines which would make it possible to use them in other sequencers that support VST, but I haven't found any, which is surprising (the one (non-VST?) in FLS can't be used in other sequencers).
Is such a plugin technically possible and would developers here be interested in programming one?

I think this is the one to include VST plugins in Buzz but not Buzz machines in VST host. I read once about the history of Buzz and it seems that the original developer is not developing it anymore (and also lost the source code in an HD disaster), all the additions are done by binary patches of other developers. The developer sold the API to FL and thats why FL includes such an adaptor. My guess is that you cannot develop such an adaptor to other hosts since the rights are owned by FL now.You can see one here .
But FL can be a VST plugin itself so you can use it as a wrapper

If i remember things right, FL do not own any rights to the Buzz API, they just licensed it from Jeskola. So, to write a Buzz-VST wrapper, you have to buy a license from Jeskola. And they're pretty expensive.

hm.. just wondering about 2 things.
1. Why would you need FL when you have buzz.
2. If you have FL you could use it as vsti in buzz. Doesn't that give the same possibilities

Buzz Adapter for VST, allows for Buzz generators to be used within a VST host - requires Buzz

Somewhere in the far, far future, we will be using Buzz again. I've seen videos of a developer moving things around a Buzz-styled window, and it made noises too!

Hopefully when these are released there will also be some sort of helpful thingamejig to bridge the sounds over to your favourite Host.

edit:
ah, I meant to say that alongside the fact that the BuzzVST thingy has been at Alpha stage for bloomin ages, and I've never got it to work, or received much support on either.
So I gave up and started hoping for these new Buzz-based thingies.

I don't know how they feel now, but when FL released its buzz effect wrapper, at least a few of the buzz developers were pretty unhappy about it. I don't think they liked the idea of there work being used by a profit making company.

Well, the API is probably pretty easy to, uhm, reverse-engineer, which is of course legal. :)

You can download a somewhat buggy Buzz-to-VST wrapper here(includes the buzz effects I've been able to use without too much problem). I've been able to use this okay in Ableton 8. Read the read me on how to deal with this wrapper: https://www.box.com/shared/kmh49uaeqb - If anybody out here knows where to find a less buggy version(not the fruity wrapper) msg me.
