I found out the problem - if anyone has the same one, this is it... the problem is only in FLstudio 5.0.1.
Version 5.0.2. works fine. So there is a bug in this version.
This is impossible. If you ASIO driver was not working in 5.0.1 it would not be working in 5.0.2, it's the same ASIO driver. I maintain you had stuffed up your audio-settings and the new install set them to something sensible.

Carb.

Another thing - I didn't want to turn out as an "ashole" and as "knowing all" guy. :) I was just trying to tell you, that I'm using this apps (FL & SX) for years and I know how to set up ASIO drivers. :)

I tried settings with both, M-audio & Asio4All drivers and it didn't help.

Another thing - there's a lot of discusions on boards out there (also on M-audio board) that ACTUAL latency difference from the one U have set up. If your latency is 5 ms, it doesn't mean that it really is. Check ABLETON LIVE settings - there's a good explanation, that this probably means 12 ms.

Thanx again!
impossible.

i had no difference between FL 5.01 and 5.02... something else must have changed.

and yes, sometimes what it says the latency is different from what it REALLY is...

but its called input and output latency i think.

Sorry, but it is true. It's not that ASIO was "not working" in 5.0.1, it's just that it didn't work like it should. It had bigger latency then set up. To test everything I could, I installed my old 4.1, I had my 5.0.1 and I installed 5.0.2. So I had 3 versions of FL on my PC and I tested them. In 4.2 and 5.0.2. everything was ok (like in SX), in 5.0.1 there was a bug, that caused bigger audiable latency - all programs where using the same ASIO driver with the same settings.

I also remeber BUG in 5.0... I used THE GRAND and I draw automation curve to change master tempo. What happend is it changed my PITCH where tempo changed. I saved my work and opened it in 4.2 and it worked fine.
:)))

im telling you, impossible.

ASIO works fine in each version, i use them extensively with ASIO drivers.

FWIW: I never noticed any difference regarding latency with 4.52, 5.01, 5.02 or any other recent FL version while using the same CPU and ASIO drivers (M-Audio Delta-44 audio card). It could be something else.

are you shure ?? I had/have the same problem. And it is not a FL problem. Even the M-Audio Support told me that this is a (big) Problem with the M-Audio Driver...
I still have the same shit in 5.02, also my asio inputs do not work longer than 30 seconds...

sorry forgot the quote..

I'm 100% sure. If it was M-audio driver, then it wouldn't work in SX and in FL4. And like I said... it also works in 5.0.2. - so it's gotta be something woith FL 5.0.1. I also tried ASIO4ALL V1.8 (better version doesn't recognize my M-audio card) and the same thing happens. It works is SX, but not in FL 5.0.1.
