tonight's show should be interesting in that: the broadband no longer works in the house. but for some reason still works outside where the line runs into the house. for the most part. the speed is intermittent. so I've relocated the modem out to the front porch and set up a borrowed laptop. at the moment everything is running fine, so I'm going to attempt to broadcast from the front porch tonight. providing that the connection speed is adequate and the rain doesn't come in sideways far enough under the roof to damage the gear, I'm going to go for it.

if you tune in to the hifi and its not there, try the lofi. there remains a strong possibility that I'll have to broadcast lower bitrates to maintain connection tonight.

so we'll see what happens.

Kudos, John! I think you should do the porch more often. The ambience is great. Maybe you should build a deck with a hot tub. The sound of bubbles would massage us all!

alright... 2 weeks of shenanigans behind us, NTNS Radio will be back in the studio for a typical show this evening. I've got enough new material for a 10 hour show, so we'll see what I can get played before the sweet oblivion of severe intoxication takes hold.
