Hi folks,
Maybe I'm missing something really fundamental here, but since upgrading to SX 3.0.2 yesterday, the master output meters seem to function pre-inserts.
It certainly didn't used to be this way. But currently, if I have dynamics processors in my master insert chain, their function (while clearly audible) is not reflected at all in the master output levels shown.
Any ideas?

Thanks Sahul, I just found that in the manual as well and it fixed the problem.
It makes me a bit nervous that a simple point upgrade would mess with user preferences like that. I've NEVER touched that setting, and didn't even realize it existed until this issue came up.
But in any case, it works now. Thanks.

You're right. This was first introduced in 3.01, and it seemed to be a direct consequence of the release of Nuendo 3 at that time.It makes me a bit nervous that a simple point upgrade would mess with user preferences like that. Take a look here:
ftp://ftp.pinnaclesys.com/Steinberg/dow ... X_302b622/
Steinberg usually announces new versions in the Forum before updating the info in their website.

im reading on the cubase.net forum that a lot of users have experienced a CPU rise of atleast 5% with 3.0.2 , so as im happy with 3.0.1 i may hang fire for a while.
